Qaid Mein Raqs
One of my favorite design projects was when I was asked to visually interpret a poem. I took inspiration from the poem "Qaid Mein Raqs," which explored the topic of domestic violence. The poem's comparison of a woman to a fly, crushed under the weight of patriarchy, deeply resonated with me.
To visually express this theme, I created an Instagram page that aimed to raise awareness about domestic violence. The design process was meticulous, as I aimed to create a visually cohesive aesthetic that conveyed the gravity of the issue. I focused on creating a consistent color palette, typography, and layout, all while paying attention to the balance between text and imagery.
Through this project, I was able to hone my skills in designing for social media platforms, creating visually compelling content that can easily reach a wider audience. This project remains one of my personal favorites, as it showcases my ability to blend inspiration and execution to create impactful and unique design work.
